OniGuru is committed to making our website and ordering experience accessible to every customer, including people with disabilities. We design and test against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at conformance Level AA.
What we conform to
This site (onigururestaurant.com) is tested against WCAG 2.1 Level AA using multiple tools and manual review:
- Automated audits with Pa11y, Lighthouse, and axe-core on every deploy
- Manual keyboard-only navigation testing
- Color contrast verification (all body text passes 4.5:1)
- Screen reader compatibility with semantic landmarks, heading hierarchy, and descriptive alt text on every image
- Animation control: the auto-play poke video has a visible pause button and honors
prefers-reduced-motion - Touch targets sized to 44×44 CSS pixels for primary navigation
- Language tags on Japanese words so screen readers pronounce them correctly

Partner ordering platforms
Online ordering for each location is hosted by partner platforms outside our direct control:
- Garden Grove: Square Online (oniguru-gardengrove.square.site)
- Ladera Ranch: Arcek Restaurants (arcekrestaurants.com)
- Mission Viejo: Square Online (oniguru-missionviejo.square.site)
These platforms have their own accessibility statements and standards. While we cannot modify their underlying code, we provide an accessible alternative below for any customer who encounters a barrier.
