Delete your account
You can delete your OniGuru account and its associated data at any time, directly from the app — no email or waiting period required. This page explains the steps, exactly what is deleted, and what (if anything) is retained.
Delete from inside the app
- Open the OniGuru app and go to the Account tab.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm when prompted. Your account and the data below are removed immediately, and you are signed out on every device.
What gets deleted
When you delete your account, we permanently remove:
- Your saved delivery addresses.
- Your push-notification token and notification preferences.
- Your customer record at every OniGuru restaurant's Square account that has your phone number on file.
- All active sign-in sessions for your phone number are invalidated.
What is retained, and for how long
Each OniGuru restaurant is an independently owned franchise that keeps its own paid-order records in Square for tax and accounting purposes, as required by law. After deletion, those historical order records are no longer linked to your phone number via a customer record. They are retained only as long as each franchise's accounting and legal-retention obligations require.
If you would also like the historical order records themselves deleted, email contact@onigururestaurant.com and we will forward the request to each franchise. Deletion of historical financial records is at each franchise's discretion, subject to their legal obligations.
Prefer not to use the app?
You can request account deletion by emailing contact@onigururestaurant.com from any address, telling us the phone number on the account. We will verify and complete the deletion described above.
